Submarines

We brought in some plastic bottles. Teacher put some holes on one side of the bottle and then we put a straw in the top of the bottle and some marla. We called this our submarine. We pushed our submarine under the water and it filled up with water and it sank. To float our submarine, we got people to blow into the straw and push the water out of the submarine. Renee, Catherine, Dionne and Matthew all blew air into the submarine. Then our submarine floated.

Floating and Sinking

We put a scissors in the water to see what would happen. It sank. We put some balls of márla in the water and they sank too. Things that are heavier than water sink.

We put some wooden paintbrushes in water and they floated. Wood is lighter than water.

We made boats out of the márla. Some of the boats floated. Some of them sank.

HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL A HUGE SUCCESS!!!

I went to the high school musical play yesterday and last night I never get tired of it!! Its the best play I've ever been to its better than last years play. The best bit was when all these boys were doing back flips and front flips and hand stands. Boy it was cool. I was taking pictures on my phone. I got some bad pictures and good pictures. And I recorded them too. I took pictures of my cousin Megan I thought she was the best because she is cousin. My cousin Megan is in sixth class. My cousin Megan comes to my house every day after school.....So back to the play......!!!
The play lasted one hour and fifteen minutes. At the end of the play me and Luke got a picture with Michelle who is the actor of Sharpay. But it didn't come out the best. On our way home we stoped at the shop and got a drink and a bar and a lolipop then we went home.

Joshua Russell is going to Spain

I am going to Spain on my summer holidays in two weeks and a half. It will be really hot over there. I am going over with Martin Kelly. There will be loads of pools. There is a beach down the road to walk. it is fifteen minutes . I am staying in Spain for two weeks. We will be at the beach or in the pool all day long .We will have the best fun ever.I won`t get back home till twelve o` clock at night.

I will get lots of nice things in Spain. When I come back from Spain I will be burnt alive!!
Me and my brother are going to get a football.I will have a great time in Spain. I am going Saturday to Saturday. I will have a great summer holidays.

My name is Evan.I am in second class.Last month I went to Neptune Stadium to do the European championships in Tae-kwon do.

I won first place in patterns and second place in sparring.After that I was sweating.I had lots of fun.

Niamhs Dancing Success!!!

My name is Niamh Beatty.I am eight years old.I had a feis on Saturday and I was in under nine's.I won four medals and one trophy but I do not know what I came in .
The feis was on at quarter past twelve.
Aoife and Orlaith in my class had a feis too and they were at the same time and the same age group .My mam,dad,auntie,nan,brothers and sisters came to my feis.

My name is Hassan.I am 7 years old.The Cara-n-Bola people were doing a show in P.E Hall.The junier,senior,first,second and third class went too.The teachers took pictures of them.
Then I saw them coming to our class.They came to our class because we came third in their art competition so they came to deliver prizes.Well when they were trying to get in class, they couldn't get in the first time because they were too big to fit in the door!!.The second time they went side-ways.
They had a box full of stuff. The prizes were in the box.They put the box on teachers table.They gave us the prizes.We got balloons,mugs and magnets.

Today is Tuesday. It is a cold day. Tomorrow it will be my birthday. I will be eight years old. Thirty of my friends are coming, not included my cousins that will be coming. I will never forget about them. I will be having a great time tomorrow. I will have a great birthday party tomorrow. I can not wait until tomorrow. I will be the oldest in my class.
We are five and a half hours in school. Mark is my friend. After school I have to go and collect worms because I will be going fishing with my Godfather Justin.
